The Harrison Historical Society Supplement

The Harrison Historical Society Museum (former "New England Horse Supply" business) is located on Haskell Hill Road off Maple Ridge in Harrison, Maine.

The Society meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.  A historical program follows a brief business meeting.

The museum will be open on Wednesdays during July and August from 2 to 5 pm.  It is open by appointment anytime by calling 583-6225.

For Sale

We have the Index for the Centennial History of Harrison, Maine, for sale for $10.  Anyone wishing to obtain a copy may pick it up at our museum at 121 Haskell Hill Road (call ahead 583-6225) or have it shipped on receipt of check or money order for $13.50.  Also on sale at the Museum are "Year 2000" calendars with scenes of Harrison's past for $15, Millennium plates for $25 and Millennium mugs for $7.

Quilt Display

We are now featuring a quilt every month at the Museum with perhaps more frequent changes during the summer.  If you would like to display a unique or favorite quilt, any size, old or new, please call 583-6225 or 2213.
